Training
Training is all-encompassing and should be related to everything a unit does, or can have happen to it.

2 Tim 3:14-17
You, however, continue in the things you have learned and become convinced of, knowing from whom you have learned them, and that from childhood you have known the sacred writings which are able to give you the wisdom that leads to salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. NASU
Are you ready? You ask, ready for what? The answer, are you ready for anything and everything that you may face, and can you endure, and win. Now isn’t that life, and isn’t that the plain and simple truth about life? What is it that you will face tomorrow, or in the next hour, and what will its affect be on your life?
We don’t like those kinds of questions because they make us feel insecure about our tomorrows, but if we belong to Christ and our lives are in His Hands, we can be so much more confident of our future. Listen to Paul above as he speaks to Timothy, he tells him to continue in those things that he has not only learned, but has become convinced of. When you are convinced, you feel secure, there has been a testing of the foundations you stand on, and questions are erased.
How had Timothy become convinced, let’s go back some to 2 Timothy 1:5 where Paul was speaking to Timothy earlier, “For I am mindful of the sincere faith within you, which first dwelt in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice, and I am sure that it is in you as well.” So now we see it, Timothy had already had proper training before he ever met the apostle Paul, and the question begs asking today. Where are the Lois’s and the Eunice’s of our time…God Bless.
