The Realities of Life

There are intangible realities which float near us, formless and without words; realities which no one has thought out, and which are excluded for lack of interpreters.
Natalie Clifford Barney (1876-1972, American-born French author)

1 Cor 2:7-10
But we speak God's wisdom in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God predestined before the ages to our glory; the wisdom which none of the rulers of this age has understood; for if they had understood it they would not have crucified the Lord of glory; but just as it is written, "THINGS WHICH EYE HAS NOT SEEN AND EAR HAS NOT HEARD, AND WHICH HAVE NOT ENTERED THE HEART OF MAN, ALL THAT GOD HAS PREPARED FOR THOSE WHO LOVE HIM." For to us God revealed them through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God. NASU

The reality of life escapes many. The obvious is in our faces, but there is so much more to be seen by those who have eyes to see it. Jesus spoke of this in Matt 13:13 “Therefore I speak to them in parables; because while seeing they do not see, and while hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand.” Jesus came to give us the ability to see and understand, the question is, who will seek Him?

The material world has blinded so many from seeing the intangible, and prevented the truth from forming around their lives. There are words that they will never hear and miracles that they will never see, because that, which is formed already, will prevent them from grasping and holding on to eternal truths.

The Holy Spirit, our Great Interpreter and Comforter waits to hear our pleas to understand and to feel, if only we would ask. Jesus tells us of the role of The Holy Spirit, and it is to search out and to reveal to us the realities of our individual worlds. So, you have help, a personal guide to the invisible, yet tangible resources God awaits to reveal to you. Will you see? Will you hear….God Bless.
